What is the usual 'azealon process' to establish an ODC ?
Product Transfer Process(PTP)
The product transfer process involves technology transition in the form of product training
with chosen team members from on-site and offshore teams. The second step is to
ensure effective replication(need based) of equipment infrastructure.
Client processes are integrated into the system at the ODC.
Responsibilities in terms of engineering management is then shifted to the ODC.
Periodic discussions follow per the process as the team starts working towards the requirements.
ODC Management and Maturity
Program and Project Management, Infrastructure and Lab maintenance,
Strengthening the team's technical expertise through periodic need based training
and Intellectual Property Rights Safety. We keep tab on the performance of ODC's
through internal review processes:
- ability: level of responsibility transfer into the ODC and handling capability
- effort: average rate(per month) at which work gets done at the ODC
- schedule: deviations in the schedule in terms of time or effort
- defect: number of defects received from the end-user versus internal defect logging
